Exactly what we store in your browser, why, and for how long.
1.In short
We don't use advertising cookies, and we don't let other companies track you on our site. We use two first-party cookies and a few items of browser storage, listed below.
3.Browser storage
These are kept in your browser, not sent to us automatically.
| Name | What it's for | How long |
|---|---|---|
bd_order_token:… | Lets this tab open the order you just placed without signing in. | Until you close the tab |
bd_sid | A random visit number for counting how visits move through the site. It isn't linked to you. | Until you close the tab |
bd_ev_seen | Stops the same visit being counted twice. | Until you close the tab |
bd_plan_again | Fills in the planner when you choose Plan again. | Until you close the tab |
bd_profile | Remembers your nappy size, feeding and delivery choice for next time. | Until you clear it |
bd_attribution | Remembers the campaign or website that sent you, so we know which channels work. | 30 days |
bd_session_hint | Notes that you're signed in, so we don't check when you aren't. | Until you sign out |
bd_no_analytics | Remembers that you've switched visit counting off. | Until you clear it |
4.Switching off visit counting
Visit counting uses no cookies and no personal data, but you can still switch it off for this browser. We also respect the Global Privacy Control setting if your browser sends it.
5.Other services
When you pay, you're taken to Stripe, which uses its own cookies to process payments securely and prevent fraud. When a delivery map is shown, your browser loads map tiles from OpenStreetMap. See our privacy notice for more.
